Capsule-based drug-delivery system that deploys a coiled mucoadhesive film to adhere to the oesophageal wall and provide prolonged (~15-minute) local medication release for improved topical therapy. Lead topical steroid for eosinophilic oesophagitis (once-daily, first-line) is Phase IIb/III-ready after Phase II showed significant eosinophil reduction; platform also supports small molecules, biologics and RNA for other oesophageal indications.
